CARRIDALE LYRICS

"Relapse In The River City"

These solid yellow lines divide my mind like the streets they ride. I’m sorry but I’m getting out tonight. It seems my lucks run out in this old graveyard town by now, and its time for me to be dipping out. I’m jaded, I’m wasted. It’s a relapse in the river city, a break down in the heart of dixie. So come one come all. I’m leaving everything behind to sing these songs. I’ll be back next fall, but I wouldn’t count on me to stick around for very long. This summer came and went and I got lost in the thrill of it. Now I’m tearing up at the in seam. I’ve got to find my way, and yea it hurts to say, because this place used to mean so much to me.
