"Let's Play Kill The Humans" lyrics

CAPTAIN, WE'RE SINKING LYRICS

"Let's Play Kill The Humans"

He came home all alone when he was done drinking.
He fell into a sea of broken glass and his face, it started bleeding.
He’s screaming, “God, if you’re up there, won’t you pity me?
I have been praying now for weeks and I don’t think that you’re listening.”
You’re so afraid to lose what you have, but what do you have that you’re afraid to lose?

Now he’s looking at the stars as they bounce off each other.
He’s counting the beats of her heart and realizes he loves her,
But then his outsides turn black and white and he leaves with that unsaid.
He cuts a gash deep into his leg, so he can see the color red and she says

“That what you’re doing is wrong.
That what you’re doing is wrong.”

Now I’m alone and I dip my feet into the river.
I’m scratching at the ground and thinking of all the pills they prescribed her.
She says, “I think that you’re going crazy
And I don’t think you’re the one that can save me.”
Says, “I think that you’re going crazy
And I don’t think you’re the one that can save me.”
So, I won’t wait for you.
Because I can’t wait forever.
