"Internet Anonymity" lyrics

THE CAPITALIST KIDS LYRICS

"Internet Anonymity"

You’ve got a big, fancy vocab, oh yeah,
but I’m just not impressed by the ethos of your paradigm.
You can’t intimidate me--even if you can out-debate me.
You’ve got a bachelors in business, unlike me.
I’ve got a dusty old associate of arts degree.
You still can’t intimidate me, even as you smugly berate me.
I’m not too smart, but I have a strong sense of the difference in right and wrong.
In your pretentious arguments, a high percent of glib nonsense, you might start with ALL CAPS before too long.
Hey hey hey, the things you say,
you would only say to me with internet anonymity.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s so great that we can discuss
with those who would otherwise never speak with us.
We don’t run in the same circles.
But you’re ruining it by being a jerkell.
Just drop the dickish superior attitude
and you would receive a bucket of gratitude.
What we really need here is a healthy exchange of ideas.
